Goon star Marc-Andre Grondin talks about DVD/Blu-ray release

Goon, starring Seann William Scott and Liev Schreiber, has been dubbed a worthy successor to 1977’s Slapshot. Written and produced by Jay Baruchel, the film centers around Seann William Scott’s character, Doug Glatt — a bouncer who overcomes long odds to lead a team of underperforming misfits to semi-pro hockey glory, beating the crap out of everything that stands in his way. Montreal native Marc-André Grondin plays Xavier LaFlamme, who’s the best player on Glatt’s team and knows it. Grondin not only had to brush up on his skating and hockey skills for the role, but he found it challenging having to be mean to his co-star Seann William Scott.

Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with Marc-André in Toronto about the success of Goon, why he thinks people should check it out on DVD/Blu-ray and what he has coming up next.
