Grace Kelly exhibit opens tomorrow in Toronto

Grace Kelly: From Movie Star to Princess opens tomorrow (November 4, 2011) to the public at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto. The preview grand opening last night was attended by Kelly’s son, Prince Albert II and his wife, Princess Charlène of Monaco. The exhibit runs to January 22, 2012 and features rarely-displayed items and artifacts ranging from Grace Kellys days as a leading lady in Hollywood to her 1956 marriage to Prince Rainier of Monaco. Many of her original dresses will be on display, including a special exhibit around an exact replica of her iconic wedding gown, her signature Kelly bagand tiara, photos from her childhood scrapbooks and high school yearbooks, telegrams from Prince Rainier and her Academy Award for The Country Girl. Kellys personal home moviesshot on Super 8, featuring her famous friends and familyprovide an extremely rare glimpse into her personal life. Entry is free for TIFF members and just $15 for non-members.
