The Grammy Awards are planning a tribute to honor the late Michael Jackson. The broadcast, which will air live from Los Angeles on January 31, will feature a never-before-seen 3D clip Jackson made for his hit “Earth Song,” as part of his series of London comeback shows. “The song was so important to him,” said Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich. To fully appreciate the clip, viewers should wear 3D glasses, which will be distributed through Target shops in the US. The awards will also be broadcast live at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, the site of Jackson’s memorial service, and attendees will also receive a pair of 3D glasses. Unfortunately, Canada doesn’t have any Target stores, but 3D glasses that come with any 3D DVD purchase will also work. The clip will be accompanied by performances from Celine Dion, Smokey Robinson, Jennifer Hudson and Usher.
