Guy Ritchie hires lawyer for custody of his son

Guy Ritchie has hired a lawyer to fight for custody of his son.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. filmmaker’s son, Rocco, 15, wants to live in London full-time with his father and defied a recent court order to return to New York to be with his mother Madonna, so the director is doing his best to support the teenager’s position.

According to TMZ, Rocco – and his father – feel he has a more ”stable and loving” home life with Guy, his wife Jacqui Ainsley and their three children, Rafael, four, Rivka, three, and Levi, 18 months.

The teenager thinks his singer mother is ”too controlling” and more importantly, he claims she doesn’t pay him any real attention.

Because of Rocco’s strong views, Guy has now hired a lawyer and is preparing for a legal battle to keep custody of his son, who left Madonna’s tour a month ago and refused to return to her for Christmas.

A New York judge has ordered Rocco back to the U.S. for a hearing next month.

Meanwhile, Rocco has apparently blocked his mother from seeing his posts on Instagram.

A source said: ”It’s not a great sign that Rocco is blocking his mom on social media, especially after all the rumors that she was embarrassing him with her posts about him. It’s even more of a blow because he allows Jacqui and Guy to still follow him and he follows them back. Hopefully this is just a teenage teething problem.”
