Gwyneth Paltrow the new face of Coach

Gwyneth Paltrow is the new model for the luxury handbag brand Coach. The ads, which will appear exclusively overseas in select European and Asian markets, are to coincide with the brand’s 70th anniversary campaign, launching in the fall of this year. The Oscar-winning actress, who has also been the face of brands like Christian Dior and Todd’s, is very excited about this new gig, saying: “Coach [is] the quintessential New York brand. I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.” Reed Krakoff, Coach’s President and Executive Creative Director, said that he chose Paltrow because she was “a natural choice. She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand.” Paltrow is currently on a book tour, promoting her cookbook My Father’s Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family & Togetherness, as well as guest starring on the hit comedy television show Glee. ~Natasha Tsakiris

WHO CARES! Really, natural choice and she remembers her first Coach bag? I remember my first love, and people remember their babys birth and wedding days (if it’s not a blur from all the people congradulating and the drinking and picture taking etc..)..really tho, she has been in many movies and places around the world and worn many different pieces of clothing and accessories and lived a full live, but she can think back to a particular purse she owned (or was given) at one point in time, likely years ago? I remember my wallet from years ago..it had a picture area, and a change compartment, it was black, no, wait, it was brown. who cares.
Side note, it amazes me women will pay more money for a purse than the purse can hold in cash lol.
Her face looks like a leather bag on this picture so the fact that she’s the new face for Coach makes perfect sense, a good fit really.
