Halle Berry marries Olivier Martinez in France

Halle Berry tied the knot with French actor Olivier Martinez in a small, intimate wedding on Saturday, July 13, at a Church in Vallery, France. The couple, who are expecting their first child later this year, got engaged in March 2012. They said their vows in front of 60 of their closest family and friends and the celebrations then continued at the nearby 16th century Chateau de Condé. According to Patrice Vansteenberghe, owner of the  Chateau, the day ended with dinner and a fireworks display of water, fire and snow in the picturesque gardens. Halle looked gorgeous in a white dress with detailed embroidery around the shoulders and a deeply plunging back. Armed police surrounded the couple to keep the paparazzi at bay. This is the third marriage for the Oscar winner, 46, who was previously married to baseball player David Justice and R&B singer Eric Benét. She is mom to Nahla, 5, her daughter with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. ~Marriska Fernandes

I wish the poor children luck, with a mother who seems to have a propensity for violent men, and who has tried hard to remove her daughter from contact her father (who is, by the way, by appearance, the only non-violent, non-screwed up man she has ever been with) — and the one, ironically that she did NOT marry.
