Hank’s Big piano donated to museum

The giant 16-foot piano used in Tom Hanks‘ movie Big has been donated to a museum in Philadelphia. In a scene that takes place in the famous toy store FAO Schwarz, Hanks and co-star Robert Loggia performed the tune “Chopsticks” with their feet on the Walking Piano. Joseph and Janet Shein, who bought the piano after the film was released, have given it to Please Touch Museum. “We love this piece,” Joseph told the Philadelphia Inquirer. “We felt it was a new direction for electronic sculpture.”
