Harrison Ford offered role in Blade Runner sequel

By Tribute on May 16, 2014 | 3 Comments

Alcon Entertainment has just announced that they are officially offering Harrison Ford the chance to reprise his role as Rick Deckard in the Blade Runner sequel. Harrison has not yet responded to the offer, but he has stated in the past he would be open and willing to return to the character. The first Blade Runner movie achieved great success when it was released in 1982. The film centered around Rick Deckard, a retired LAPD officer who hunts down and kills Replicants, which are human-like robots. It was announced last year that not only is Alcon Entertainment making a sequel to Blade Runner, but the screenwriter from the first film, Hampton Fancher, will return with Michael Green (Heroes, Green Lantern) to write the screenplay for the sequel. ~Dylan Paisley
