Steven Spielberg has revealed to Empire magazine that a fifth Indiana Jones is in the works, with series creator George Lucas currently at work on the story. Meanwhile, Harrison Ford, 69, confirms he’s interested in reprising the title role. He first portrayed Indiana Jones at age 39 in Raiders of the Lost Ark, which was followed by the 1984 sequel Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Ford, who last played the iconic character in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, will be 70 when filming commences late next year. He told Extra TV: “I have strong ambition to do it while I’m still alive. I’m available, I’m not cheap, but I’m available!”
