Harrison Ford trying his hand at comedy

Harrison Ford, 66, is taking a break from action movies — he’s signed up for a comedy as his next film, according to the Hollywood Reporter. In Morning Glory, he’ll play a news anchor who quits his job because the newscast has become too gossip based and is then recruited to anchor a morning talk show. The last time Ford appeared in a comedy was in the 1995 romance Sabrina, which failed miserably at the box office. In the meantime, he’s finished production on the drama Crossing Over, which should open early 2009, but has no definite release date as yet.
