Harry Potter star signs record deal

Harry Potter actor Tom Felton, 22, who plays Draco Malfoy in the movie series, has signed a record deal. He’s been playing guitar and writing songs for years, and has posted many of his performances at YouTube under his Feltbeats account. He also has several songs for download at iTunes. He recently landed a contract with an independent record label called Six Strings Productions, which posted the news on their Twitter page, saying, “We have really really exciting news… Tom Felton has signed and the album is very much on its way.” Felton isn’t giving up acting, though — he’s joined the cast of Caesar: Rise of the Apes as Brian Cox’s son, co-owner of ape facility. He’ll star alongside James Franco, Andy Serkis, John Lithgow and Freida Pinto. The film is “set in present-day San Francisco” and “deals with the aftermath of man’s experiments with genetic engineering that lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.”

they all now have time to focus on other things. Glad to see there are a few straight arrows out of that bunch. If I recall there was at least one or two who had a run in with the law from that cast.
