Rupert GrintRupert Grint, 20, who plays Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies, was afflicted with swine flu while filming the latest movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. Luckily, the filmmakers were able to shoot around Grint’s absence and no other cast members were infected. “It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu,” his rep said in a statement. “He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards.” Grint’s doctor has determined that the actor is no longer contagious. He will be attending the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince tonight.

Very anxious to see this movie, we will be away on vacation, but are hoping to squeeze it in somehow.

Well, I hope you get to see it, Tributegirl. And I hope you have a good vacation…we don’t get a vacation this year because I bought a new vehicle instead. I just got it on Monday and I absolutely love it!

Awesome! I’ve been looking at vehicles too, but won’t be trading any time soon, it’s just kind of fun to look around. And I’m expecting to have a great vacation, thanks! Can’t wait!

Hey, I bought a new one recently as well! What did you buy??

    tributegirl on July 8, 2009 3:42 PM

Hope you have a great one! Where are you going? I just bought a vehicle as well, kid needed braces and now I’m broke 🙁 So there is no vacation for us this year. We do have a pretty decent trailer at a place called Knights Beach but no one really considers it a “vacation” anymore. I guess the novelty wears off after awhile. I have to force the kids to go at this point

Anon/Gina: I bought a 2009 Buick Enclave CXL and I love it! You got a Ford Escape after your van was stolen, didn’t you?

Obviously not as nice as your vehicle!!! But good enough. Congrats on the spiffy vehicle; just googled it and I’m impressed! I guess you do love it.

Well, we’re talking trailer & pool for next summer, so I guess vacation will be out next year, but it will be worth it!

Tributegirl and Anon/Gina: I like shopping for vehicles but I also don’t like it. There are too many nice ones to choose from! I also considered the Ford Edge, Chevrolet Traverse; Toyota Venza but went with the Enclave (got a little discount from a connection, haha).
