Hilton’s sentence reduced

Paris Hilton‘s sentence for breaking probation has been reduced from 45 days to 23 days in jail. Despite earlier predictions that Hilton would be in and out within a day, similar to Michelle Rodriguez‘s jail time for a similar conviction, L.A. County sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore said Wednesday, “The Sheriff’s Department is announcing that Ms. Hilton will do a minimum of 23 days in jail. The possibility that she will be processed in and out in a day is over. She will do her full time, minus 22 days because of a state jail policy encouraging good inmate behavior.” Hilton’s good behavior, according to the sheriff’s office, was showing up for her court date. She’s due June 5th to begin serving her sentence in a “Special Needs Unit” for high profile inmates, where the socialite will be kept segregated from the general prison population.
