Hilton/King interview a ratings winner

Paris HiltonParis Hilton‘s hour long appearance on Larry King Live was a ratings winner, bringing more than 3.2 million viewers to the show. However, King wasn’t too impressed with the heiress, saying, “I’d have liked a bit more introspection.” He was also less than impressed when Hilton said she’d been reading the Bible in jail, but couldn’t name her favorite passage. Scoffed King, “I don’t think Paris reads the Bible.”

Perhaps if King came up with some questions worthy of Paris, he’d get the introspection he’s looking for…

I bet she outdrew The Beatles interview of the previous night; such an AMAZING woman!

If people don’t pay attention to the idiot, hopefully she will go away. But she won’t, since she is a virus to the world.

King’s interview with Paris was the best hour of television in years.

  9. Common Sense • June 29, 2007 @ 5:59 PM

Her ass should go back to jail and do her full term..There is so much people in her shoes can do. I am not saying she needs to cure cancer but come on.. You have all this time and money and you are doing what with it………… NOTHING…. Does anybody know if she has a degree or highschool diploma?

Paris gives us so much – beauty, poise, grace, class – serving us again and again as a sterling example of what we all can be if we put our minds to it. I was enthralled by her vulnerability in her interview with Larry King. It was so utterly delightful, so refined in its honesty. Mr King, please. It’s up to you to bring out the best in your guests, and it just doesn’t do for you to insult them after they leave. Shame on you.

  11. Pencil Neck • June 29, 2007 @ 6:51 PM

I couldn’t agree more, Loverboy. Larry showed no class and he should be gone from the airwaves like Imus.

  12. A Beautiful Mind • June 30, 2007 @ 4:19 AM

Shame on you, Larry King! Paris did your interview for FREE when she could have set her own price with the networks. Be grateful Paris doesn’t share your short-sightedness.

Sadly, King got caught up in his own self-importance and forgot who the star of the evening was. I can’t stand him.

Slippery Pete said “Perhaps if King came up with some questions worthy of Paris, hed get the introspection hes looking for” HA HA HA… right buddy, like whats her favorite nail polish, or wait… maybe, what is your favorite outfit to wear dancing…. OH NO… WAIT !! How about… what do you prefer to film your sexual incounters with, DVD cam, HD Cam, Or maybe High 8 cam ???? ha ha ha… is that the introspective your looking for Pete ?

  15. Slippery Pete • July 1, 2007 @ 2:58 AM

It’s obvious Richard has Paris envy…

  16. A Beautiful Mind • July 1, 2007 @ 6:57 AM

    Too true, Pete! Too true!

  17. London Dairy Air • July 1, 2007 @ 9:08 AM

    Heh, heh – “Paris envy!”

  18. Melvin Pleeb • July 1, 2007 @ 9:30 AM

    HAPPY CANADA DAY, PARIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Sparky • July 1, 2007 @ 9:56 AM

Everytime I see Paris I think, isn’t there a village somewhere in the states missing there idiot? Only in America can someone be so stupid and be so famous for nothing!

  20. Richard • July 1, 2007 @ 10:39 AM

Thanks Sparky… for a minute there… I thought I woke up in the land of Oz, and thought maybe I was supposed to be 3’2″ and green. I do give her credit for being able to take runway walking, a name, partying, and stolen sex tapes into a career. Sparky is right, where else could that happen? The question was introspection, she said “her book in prison was the bible” Larry asked a simple question, what was your favorite part? she didnt have to say verse and chapter… ha ha ha.. but if she really read the book… she ould have said the part where the girl looks back… and she gets turned into a pillar of salt…. something… anything…. but no… it was.. um….. hmm… not sure. She says she is a business woman… and runs a business… he he he.. yet…. she doesnt read anythng, her people put stuff in front of her and she just signs it, she has no idea what she is signing…. Envy… yes…. I wish I was that stupid, and that rich… and the world would be a better place for me…I am glad the that the people who do envy people and treat her like their queen here, have Paris. Gives them someone to look up to.

  21. Secret Friend • July 1, 2007 @ 6:07 PM

I commend Paris for her honest and forthright answers. If King wasn’t happy with the interview, he only has himself to blame.

  22. az • July 1, 2007 @ 6:36 PM

Larry king is a Fool.i didnt even know he was still alive until i found out about Paris first interview with him. She was totally great and the ratings had to be awesome coz nobody can get enough of Paris hilton..and its true its like a Virus that we cant live with and cant live without it. PARIS IS THE BEST .She is rich ,famous, hot, and … and people who hate her..its nothing but envy and jelousy

  23. Perfection in a Pink Bikini • July 1, 2007 @ 11:14 PM

She’s a better role model than 50 Cent or George W. Bush, that’s for sure.

  24. Marco Pollover • July 2, 2007 @ 3:18 AM

I really hope they make the interview available on dvd…

  25. Agastya • July 2, 2007 @ 7:12 PM

Paris…”someone to look up to”?…”a role model”?…”commend her”? “Larry King dead”?WOW!! At first I thought that the authours of these comments were joking…please, nooobody could be that out of touch?
What’s next…? Paris for Governor of Cali? No, wait… she was “beauty, poise, grace, class – serving us again and again as a sterling example of what we all can be if we put our minds to it”…whoa!…she’ll be the next U.S. Ambassador to the U.N!
Who are you people? She’s a spoiled little rich girl that got caught…again and again… and then to top it off …one who couldn’t do her time! I’m not judging her for that, but I certainly wouldn’t want my daughter looking up to her as someone to emulate!
Richard, Sparky…are we the only ones not trippin’ on some hi-test?

  26. bubbleboy • July 3, 2007 @ 9:13 AM

50 cent should kick Paris’ ass. That would make for good television.

  27. Mookie • July 3, 2007 @ 10:01 AM

What has this chick really done?

I mean other than a porn video, really she is a spoiled rich nasty as girl, who thinks she is above the law

I avoid anything that has her in it… and around it.

  28. Karen • July 4, 2007 @ 1:36 AM

omg, I can’t believe how many people are for this girl. Who made really because of her last name. How she got herself out there in any way she could. Someone who obviously likes attention so much she’ll get it any way she can. As for Larry King…why are some you putting him down? As far as I can see he’s as respected as some of those top journalists out there. Why couldn’t Paris name her favorite passage? Any one who is serious enough about the Bible should be able to! I think she is an out and out fake that not only needs to do her whole sentence but get probation as well as community service. Come on, teach some of these pansy ass celebrities that they can’t get away with shit like this! I am so sick and tired of hearing about stars who get away with DUI and drugs, etc. Aren’t you? Maybe one of us normal people should try it out and see how lucky we are…maybe we’ll get a paltry 23 day sentence? You think?? Or maybe we’ll kill someone instead….one of these days…a STAR will do that. Their life would end as they know it. Get real and get with it people. She is not a star, she’s not even a role model. She is a joke. I can’t wait until she is forgotten.

  29. grandma • July 20, 2007 @ 8:13 AM

Well, I sure think this is really hilarious! To think that people are so interested in such a person as this young, mixed up, rotten person, it makes us up as a culture that is also mixed up, rotten and totally pathetic. A soap opera, is what her life is, but the scary part is that it’s for real. We must show admiration for other substantial people who make a positive difference in this world. Bye bye Paris and others like her.
