The family comedy Home was the big winner at this weekend’s box office. The animated film is DreamWorks Animations’ 31st feature-length animation and features voice work by Rihanna, Jim Parsons, Steve Martin and Jennifer Lopez. Home earned $54 million and is a hit with Tribute readers. They’ve given it 4.2 stars.
With its debut at second was the comedy Get Hard. The movie has gotten quite a bit of backlash for being too racist/homophobic, but earned $34 million in its debut weekend. Tribute readers have mixed reviews and give it a 3.2 star rating.
