Horrible Bosses 2, Penguins of Madagascar in theaters this weekend

HorribleBosses2The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is still dominating the box office, but it’s facing some new competition thanks to Horrible Bosses 2 and Penguins of Madagascar. Both films already hit theaters on Wednesday thanks to American Thanksgiving, but that won’t stop us from giving you our weekly movie update.

The boys are back in Horrible Bosses 2, but this time they’ve become their own horrible bosses. Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) are struggling entrepreneurs who find themselves in another dire situation when an investor (Christoph Waltz) tries to swindle them out of their money. Their solution? They kidnap his spoiled son (Chris Pine). Watch an interview with the three stars of the film, where they talk about the pressure to live up to the first film. Check showtimes here.

The Penguins of Madagascar are starring in their own feature animation. This time around the penguins must join forces with an undercover group of animals led by Agent Classified (Benedict Cumberbatch) when an evil scientist (John Malkovich) is set on eliminating the penguin race. Watch an interview with stars Malkovich and Cumberbatch as they discuss tapping into their animated counterparts. Check showtimes here.

Toronto International Film Festival premiere film Foxcatcher is out on limited release in Toronto this week. Steve Carell takes a dark turn as John du Pont, a multi-millionaire wrestling fanatic who becomes erratic while working with Olympic medalist wrestlers Mark and Dave Shultz, played by Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo. While promoting the film at TIFF, Channing revealed that he never wants to wrestle again. Check showtimes here.
