Houston family gets a reality show

Sometimes the death of a family member can make people do crazy things. Everyone handles a loss differently — however — a lucky few get their own reality show. According to recent reports, the Lifetime network has picked up a ten-episode documentary series called The Houston Family Chronicles. If you haven’t already guessed it, the series focuses on the people Whitney Houston left behind and the family coming together to take care of Whitney’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Rob Sharenow, Lifetime‘s Executive VP of Programming, said the death of Whitney hurt many people, especially her family. “In this series, the multi-generations of the Houston family will bravely reveal their lives as they bond together to heal, love and grow.” The series is scheduled to air later this year and will mainly focus on Whitney’s mother, brother, daughter and sister-in-law. Many feel the family shouldn’t be coping with the death by doing a reality show — besides, most of us know how unsuccessful Being Bobby Brown was. ~Krystin Edgerton

This just makes me sick that they’re actually trying to make money of this poor woman’s name and her tragedy of a life…it’s heartbreaking. Shame on the Houston family and anyone who watches this show

That is so typical today is Hollywood~ classless as reality shows are!! you bear your heart and soul for the crowds. As a performer, which I am also. I can see how twisted this is, like Michael jackson another great and talented soul, but with a greedy family. It’s unreal what people do for money.

God bless you Whitney~ I will always cherish YOU, in heaven you are free… on earth you have the greedy sould to contend with… the unfortunate circumstances of families that always see the dollar sign…too bad, Whitney was and will always represent something that was PURE! her legacy will live on, this show is just a simple act of greed and exploitation…

It honestly shocks me how people just want money and are willing to do so much for it!
