Hugh Jackman immortalized in cement

hugh_jackman_graumansHugh Jackman has been immortalized by dipping his hands and feet into the famous cement outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. Jackman told the crowd of approximately 500 fans that he’d first visited Grauman’s when he arrived in Los Angeles 12 years earlier. “It’s a very humbling moment as an actor to be here. You look down at the names, from Fred Astaire to Cary Grant, Clint Eastwood, Al Pacino, Steve McQueen, John Wayne, and to think that those people have been immortalized and pretty soon I’ll be putting my hands in wet cement,” Jackman said. “This is an amazing moment — I never thought would happen. I am very humbled by it.” Jackman’s new movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, opens May 1st. ~movi_alex
