Hugh Jackman treated for skin cancer

Actor Hugh Jackman has revealed he had an operation on his nose to get rid of cancerous cells. He posted a picture of himself on Instagram with a bandaged nose and noted that his wife, actress Deborra-Lee Furness, had asked him to take precautions. He was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, a common form of skin cancer that is rarely fatal. “Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right!” he wrote in the photo caption. The couple have been married since 1996 and have two adopted children. “Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!” he continued. The Australian actor recently starred as the titular character in The Wolverine and will reprise the role in next year’s hotly anticipated franchise installment X-Men: Days of Future Past. ~Raj-Kabir Birk

Cons: Everyone seems to have a PPB bag. My husband won like carrying it.
