Hunger Games beats competition at People’s Choice Awards

Ajennifer_lawrence_PCnd the victor for the most People’s Choice Awards goes to…The Hunger Games. The movie based on the first in Suzanne Collins’ bestselling book trilogy won five awards for Favorite Movie, Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Movie Franchise, while its star Jennifer Lawrence was named Favorite Movie Actress, and she and co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth took home Favorite On Screen Chemistry. The movie was nominated for six awards, but was beat out by Twilight for Choice Fan Following. Those Twihards really love their vampires and werewolves. The two hour live ceremony was hosted by The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco. Justin Bieber notably was shut out, going home without a single award, which had his fans up in arms and taking to Twitter – however, it may mean that his fan base is shrinking.

Ugh. This is the state of our society, we revere movies about children killing each other.

The Hunger Games for Favourite Movie?! Zac Efron as Favourite Dramatic Actor?! What drugs are people taking?!?!

  3. Olive • January 10, 2013 @ 10:00 PM

First off, Janice calm the hell down. Its a fictional story, get over it. As for the awards, at least the people did SOMETHING right and gave Best Dramatic Movie to Perks 🙂

Really Janice, I don’t think you give today’s kids enough credit — they don’t just kill other kids, they kill other people, too.

Were any of the voters over eight years old?

I don’t get it: Emma Watson beats out Kristen Stewart for Favourite Dramatic Actress?! Smoke ’em if you got ’em, voters!

HA HA this is ment to appeal to 15 year olds anybody older will be disapointed in this show. It’s just another dumb award show for hollywood to pat themselves on the back with.

J, I saw Snow White and I cant give a coherant response since I had a headache while I was watching it. Yeah, that proves a lot about how good it was 🙂

Wendy and also Ron, i’m not speaking about Heavens being an INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER, i’m only referring to Sky’s program they provide in order to buyers which may have some sort of internet connection interconnection known as Stones By Broadband’ that is certainly mistreating our bandwidth. There exists absolutely nothing drastically wrong with Heavens for ISP in terms of now i’m knowledgeable.
