One of my favorite toys that I received on Christmas Day was a toy Singer Sewing machine. It clamped to the table and you turned the wheel by hand to sew. I still have it. A special keepsake.
I don’t know if it’s considered a “toy”, but the memory of how ecstatic I was when I unwrapped my original Nintendo Entertainment System is still fresh in my mind to this day. My parents had even put droplets of water on the wrapping before I got to the living room to make it look like Santa had recently dropped it off and it had been in the snow. The magic was real that day!

When I was younger, my dad bought me a horse & wagon set. The horses had articulated legs and were a matched pair of bays (I was and still am a HUGE horse lover), and the wagon was a chuckwagon. My Barbie dolls rode around in that thing for ages, having many adventures ‘on the prairie’. The chuckwagon had all the cooking utensils we needed too, and the cover was plastic so it held its shape. I loved that set so much!

Daniel Schneider. The original Teddy Ruxpin. I would definitely have to say Teddy I was so in awe of how he could move his mouth and eyes and talk. I wanted him so bad and Christmas morning of 1987 I finally got him. I remember seeing this big box that I was just hoping it was him and I ripped the gift wrap off so fast and I went insane! All I wanted to do was see him in action my Dad gave the batteries I turned him on. I stayed up all night playing with him until I passed out. The next morning I tried turning him on again but he wouldn’t start up. I thought it must be the batteries so I got some new ones but he still wouldn’t turn on. I was crying. I called my mom and my dad but they couldn’t figure how to work him. That was that I got one magical day and night with him but after that my Mom returned him to the store and I didn’t ever get another Teddy Ruxpin. I just found out recently though that they came out with a new and improved teddy Ruxpin that is more advanced and probably won’t break down like the older version and his eyes have LCD lights in them and there is even an app that he responds too. I think want to relive that Christmas of 1987 all over again!

When I was 7, I got an Easy Bake Oven. I got tons of baking packs and I think I baked every day for as long as I could. I was so excited that I could bake in the kitchen all by myself. Thanks for the super giveaway opportunity.
