Alec Baldwin accused of lying about underage sex scene

Nikki Reed and Alec Baldwin in Mini's First TimeAlec Baldwin recently released a tell-all memoir titled Nevertheless in which he alleges that producers of the indie film Mini’s First Time (2006), which was filmed in 2004, misled him about the age of actress Nikki Reed, with whom he had sex scenes.

Alec writes: “I was forty-seven, and it never occurred to me to ask how old Nikki Reed was. When I found out, just as we finished, that she was seventeen, I flipped out on the producers, who had told me something different.”

Dana Brunetti, who produced the film, told The Hollywood Reporter that Alec was very much aware of the actress’s age and even hand-picked her himself, saying, “It’s a lie. I read it and was like, ‘What the f—. Of course he totally knew how old she was. That’s why there’s no nudity in the movie. He knew before we even cast the movie. I think he’s been method acting Trump too much and he doesn’t know the difference between fake news anymore.”

Another one of the film’s producers, Evan Atrowsky, corroborates Dana’s account of the situation: “What Alec says happened is not accurate. I completely corroborate that. We were on set every day. The thing that Alec must remember is that Mini, played by Nikki, is a sophomore in high school. I don’t know what else to say, except Alec, watch the movie. As for yelling at us after the movie, it absolutely never happened.”

And the nay-sayers keep mounting — the director and writer of Mini’s First Time, Nick Guthe, chimed in to agree with the film’s producers, admitting that Nikki was actually even younger than 17, something he says Alec was fully aware of: “We all knew she was 16. When we discussed it at first, it was a question of meeting with her and making sure she was mature enough to handle the role. On the set, Nikki, being 16, would often speak quickly the way teenagers do, and Alec asked me about that at times because he had trouble understanding her, and I would remind him, “She’s 16.'”

But for Fifty Shades Darker producer Dana Brunetti, it’s the fact that Alec would risk their reputations as well as the reputation of fellow Mini’s First Time producer, accomplished actor Kevin Spacey, that he finds particularly infuriating: “If he had just said, ‘I didn’t know her age,’ I would have thought, ‘He’s a liar,’ and let it go. But when he blamed the producers, I couldn’t let it go. It [makes us look like] we did something unethical or shady or hid something. It makes me look bad. It makes Evan look bad. Does he realize Kevin was a producer?”

Nikki, who had only acted in one film prior — Thirteen, which she co-wrote with her father’s friend, director Catherine Hardwicke — went on to star in the Twilight movies. She is married to The Vampire Diaries  star Ian Somerhalder.

Alec Baldweiner is a creep and we Canadians (once I know) hope he remains in the US with that even bigger Hollywood whiner Rosie ODoghnuts!

Ummm maybe I’m naive, but it wasn’t real sex was it? So is he admitting to sex with a minor? I suppose it’s only a minor depending where they were filming it? Or is nobody talking about that and just leaving it as he’s a liar and the Producers are sticking up for each other as well.

My first question would be WHY is Alec Baldwin talking about this NOW? Does he want to create an issue with his current wife and young kids?

He is almost insinuating that he had sex with this 16 year old and given his age at the time, even if consenual, if this happened in Canada he would be in the slammer.

Who honestly cares if the producer was Kevin Spacey who is extremely well respected in Canada. Kevin Spacey has built up a solid reputation and will not be defiled by rants.

I put Alec Baldwin on a list of people that if I saw them during TIFF in Toronto at a bar or pub I wouldn’t give him the time of day.

Let the public judge if he is hallucinating about this rant or if it is true then ” what is the purpose of his statement”??

Seems like a pretty complex situation. I doubt the truth will ever come out. It may be helpful for Nikki to come forward and address things, though.

It will be funny to see SNL do a skit on this….but they won’t. Gutless wonders…
Once a pedophile, always a pedophile….no matter how they justify it.

Baldwin is a jerk all the way around. But….aside from that, why are the producers washing their hands trying to make themselves all sparkly clean???? THEY employed a minor to have sex on stage with an old man. Baldwin didn’t hire her, the PRODUCERS did. Even though they “said” Baldwin picked her out himself, it’s THEY, …. the PRODUCERS who put her on payroll knowing what the script called for. Whether Baldwin knew the girl’s age or not, all the producers knew. And what young teenage girl is going to turn down a ride on a free highway to stardom??? Enough finger pointing….they ALL need to be charged no matter how long ago this took place.

Baldwin has a book to promote and nothing sells faster than scandal and controversy, especially something as taboo as underage sex. Baldwin is well-known for his narcissism and it’s a big reason he never had that A-List Hollywood career his early blockbuster role in The Hunt for Red October promised. Harrison Ford took over the role of Jack Ryan after Baldwin’s salary demands reached the ridiculous level. Producers called his bluff and Ford enjoyed another career building franchise to go along with Star Wars and Indy. Baldwin ballooned, his looks faded and he was relegated to indie movies and tv. He never stopped being a douche.

He is an old pervert, always has been a jerk. Think he is just boasting about the fact he had sex scenes with a 17yr old…..no 17yr old would give him a second look IF they were not in a movie .. he is delusional if he thinks otherwise. He is NOT an attractive man, never was.

Are any on you old enough to remember the movie pretty baby. Brooke shields was I believe twelve. If it’s not real sex then It’s what is it is. Alec Baldwin maybe a creep to some but a hero to others. It goes with the morals of the day. You have to live with yourself at the end of the day. Now if someone is saying rape that’s a whole different story. And I don’t think that is what’s being said.

  10. Kitty • April 6, 2017 @ 4:36 PM

Quinn…..Sex with a minor is the same as rape and the punishment is no different in a court of law. And yes,…even if the minor consented.

  11. Belinda • April 6, 2017 @ 4:42 PM

Baldwin seems to have a history of behaving badly. His terrible break up with Kim Basinger. His terrible comments left in a phone message for his daughter. His denial of an engagement to a french canadian woman that he pursued, then denied knowing, while pursuing his current wife at the same time. Producers would be wise to recall this stuff when hiring. It would save them a lot of grief.

  12. Kent • April 6, 2017 @ 5:06 PM

I haven’t seen the movie, so please excuse my confusion. She was under 18, so they had no nudity (of her). But they had sex scenes. So I assume under sheets or blankets. So was there actual intercourse happening, or just simulated? If he had simulated sex, under a blanket, does her age even matter? If there was actual intercourse, legality would depend on where it was filmed. In Canada, in 2006, the age of consent was 14 and raised to 16 in 2008.

  13. Teresa • April 6, 2017 @ 5:52 PM

Who cares, its a movie all make believe and in Canada, when it was made the age of consent was 14, it became 16 2 years ago.

  14. quinn • April 6, 2017 @ 6:33 PM

Kitty Kitty Kitty. I’m not saying rape is not illegal. If there was no penetration to said minor then you can’t in good conscience call it rape. It becomes more of a moral issue. The movie was made with adults on set not children. If there was a legal issue in question the adults on set should have brought it up at the time of filming. Greed makes people do different things. They wanted to get the movie made so people don’t question it. They care about the end result. Sad but true.

karma= all the dirt he is slinging about President Trump, he is worse as I already wrote in on that propaganda these Hollywood Trash are slinging about their President. He also had a video with his daughter that was disgraceful, didn’t his daughter Ireland get married and not invite him. Goes to show what a sh#t he is. I can’t stand him and he is making more of an idiot of himself with the Trump crap.

  16. Dusty • April 6, 2017 @ 8:37 PM

President Trump is twice the man Baldwin is.

  17. Cathi • April 7, 2017 @ 8:44 AM

You’re right. Donald Trump IS twice the man Baldwin is. He is twice the jerk, twice the groper, twice the predator and twice the liar. Where have some peoples morals gone? Greed has taken over morality and to suggest Donald Trump is some great thing that should be admired is so sick and twisted.I mean what color is the sky in your world? Maybe when I feel like taking a break from reality.. I’ll come visit you just to see.

  18. quinnC • April 7, 2017 @ 7:12 PM

Cathi you rock! Couldn’t have said it better myself.

  19. Teedee • April 7, 2017 @ 7:40 PM

Alec Baldwin does a lot of great charity work, etc. and I love how he cuts down Drumpf the Liar. President Drumpf is the laughing stock of the planet and a dangerous lunatic and it’s good to have so many people pointing that out. His followers are undereducated and uninformed, but his time will be up before we know it.

  20. Shorty • April 7, 2017 @ 10:15 PM

Poor Nikki Reed. She was just trying to get her career started. Kind of like the kid who got raped by Roman Polanski, although after that happened, her career came to a grinding halt.

  21. Cathi • April 9, 2017 @ 10:06 AM

Re: quinnC… thank u kindly. Bashing isn’t my deal but when I come across human beings who are actually sold on Trumps ideas it boggles my mind. This planet is starting to feel like the Twilight Zone every day.But I guess “keep on keepin on” right? Cheers

Re: quinnC… thank u kindly. Always nice to find another chunk of sanity on our island in the Twilight Zone.
