Amanda Bynes caused a ruckus on Twitter earlier today when she accused her father of “verbal and physical abuse.” In a series of over a dozen tweets, the former actress claimed her father insulted her and sexually harassed her while growing up. “I need to tell the truth about my dad,” she wrote. However, just a few hours later she took to Twitter again to deny her own accusations, saying that her father, Rick, “never did any of those things,” but forced her to say them. “The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he’s the one that ordered them to microchip me,” Amanda tweeted.
Amanda’s mother, Lynn, released a statement through her lawyer regarding the string of tweets. “Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for. He has never abused Amanda or our other children physically or sexually,” Lynn told E!News. “These allegations stem from Amanda‘s mental state at the moment. They have no basis in reality. It saddens me beyond belief that my husband’s character could be slandered in such a way.”
According to a report from TMZ, both parents have gone to New York City to find Amanda and place her into a mental health facility, but so far have been unable to locate her. ~Kelly Townsend

“Women never falsely accuse men of abuse (of any kind) and if they do then it’s obviously something that a man did to warrant such behavior from such innocent helpless damsels void of all agency.” -A. Feminist.
