Amanda Seyfried’s dog lands first movie role

Amanda Seyfried’s dog, Finn, will star in a movie. Amanda was on the Ellen Degeneres Show yesterday promoting her new film, Epic, and amongst other things, the two blondes discussed the 27-year-old actress’ pooch. Finn, an Australian Shepherd, follows Amanda around almost everywhere. Her devotion to her pet is obvious – he even has his own Twitter account and website – just look up Finn Seyfried. Amanda, who also has cats, told Ellen, “I love animals, but there is no animal has the same kind of place in my heart like Finn does.” The busy actress has several projects on the go this year. She hasn’t revealed which movie Finn will be in but it’s a good assumption that he’ll be starring with her. According to Amanda, the movie starts filming in September and he’ll have more than one scene, but she can’t discuss his character. Looking at her list of projects, the best bet is probably While We’re Young, a comedy/drama that she’s reportedly signed onto, which will be directed by Noah Baumbach and starts filming in the fall of this year. ~Cassie Jasinski
