Amy Adams feels exposed on set

By Tribute on June 7, 2013 | 6 Comments

Amy Adams prefers not to be the center of attention, regardless of her star status. With hit performances in films such as Catch Me If You Can, co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio, and her upcoming role as Lois Lane in the Superman movie Man of Steel, Amy still has not been able to cope with the fame. In an interview in the July edition of British magazine Elle, she expressed that she is never going to enjoy being a celebrity. “I graduated high school and I didn’t have a skill set and I didn’t want to go to college. I needed a job. This is what I could do. And I like it, but it can be very painful. You feel so vulnerable all the time on set, so exposed.” The four-time Oscar nominee explained that she’s always been insecure, even before her presence in Hollywood. “But I had that same feeling of being exposed when I was a waitress, I have it at parties, I have it here. I’d love to be a diva. But I’d then have to send so many apology notes for my abhorrent behavior.” Although she wouldn’t change her life now, Amy had trouble dealing with all the attention she received after her role in Catch Me If You Can. The most unease she has felt was at the Oscars, when she was “sitting next to Sean Penn and Meryl Streep and thought, ‘What am I doing here? I don’t belong here.’ I felt like it could all be taken away.” ~Rebecca Raveendran

I hate being in the spotlight too. Maybe I should become an actress. Just kidding, she seems like a very sweet person and she shouldn’t worry about anything, she’s a terrific actress.

Amy is a dream ~ concerning her insecurities (and this goes for anyone!)

she would benefit greatly by seeing a Homeopathic Dr. Subtle deficiencies in minerals etc. will cause one to not feel strong in your own body.

I have tried some remedies (you can even look up your symptoms in books) and was pleased with the results. No more stage fright, panic attacks when speaking in front of a group etc.

I wiish her well and am writing a screenplay with her as the lead! Now to find a way to get her a copy of it! Anyone know how?
