Angelina admits she’s not “completely sane”

Angelina Jolie says she isn’t “sane and even” all the time. The actress has been married twice, and now raises six children with her partner Brad Pitt. She is known for the outlandish things she did when she was younger, including a fascination for knives and wearing a vial of her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton’s blood around her neck. Although Angelina has calmed down since becoming a parent, she insists she is far from a normal mother. She is currently promoting her new movie Salt, in which she plays Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy. She was drawn to the part because she has a lot in common with Evelyn. “I loved that she wasn’t completely good. There’s something about that. Not to say that’s me. But there’s certainly a side of me that isn’t completely… sane,” she said. “Or completely even all the time. We all have our dark sides.”

i agree with all 3 of you. i hate how actresses think they need to be this thin in order to be in their profession. she would look great if she gained 10-15lbs. i wonder how shes different as a parent? and i agree with her as well, everyone has their dark sides and their secrets and their hidden personalities. at least shes willing to admit it 😀

Please don’t twist Angelina Jolie’s words for not being a normal mother, Angelina Jolie is a great mother and put her children before everything, she was wild when she was younger, but she has changed after adoping Maddox, I dont know why people always bring her wild youth which comparing to Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Nicole …. etc she was a lot better, at least she wasn’t jailed.
I’m terribly disappointed in tribute.ca for following in the slimy sleazy footsteps of tabloids and sh*tty gossip blogs and twisting Angelina’s words – she was at a press conference, and she was laughing…you can quote anyone and imply anything based on what they say casually/jokingly and then further taking it out of context…I’ve read celebrities say they’re psycho, neurotic, and out of their mind…they don’t mean they’ve been diagnosed as such LITERALLY…so fck YOU, and stop the slander – am done with this site. carmen on July 25, 2010 11:46 AM if youre talking to me, youre nuts lmfao. first of all, i wouldnt compare angelina to anyone, second of all im one of the only few on here that will defend this woman until im dead. i think angelina is the most amazing person in the world. im just curious if she has a different parenting technique than the rest of the world.
