Anne Hathaway counting her blessings

Anne Hathaway and Raffaello FollieriAnne Hathaway is probably counting her blessings right now that she dumped her Italian businessman boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, as he faces a dozen counts of wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering. Hathaway and Follieri dated for four years before calling it quits last month amid speculation Hathaway was concerned her reputation and image were being tarnished by Follieri. In court this week, Follieri was placed under home detention until he could post a staggering $21 million bail. The prosecution argued Follieri was a “con man” and a “high potential risk of flight.” Hathaway is likely happy that Follieri doesn’t have the opportunity to get a hand on her millions. As for her acting career? She can currently be seen in the #1 movie at the box office, Get Smart, and releasing in September, Passengers.

i feel bad for her. it couldnt have been easy leaving someone you thought you knew for 5 years.

I agree that 4 years is a long time to be with someone but if he was doing that kind of stuff behind her back now who knows what else he was capable of doing….so she should be happy she learned about him now than to get married and have a child with him and then discover this secret about him….

She was probably on the take too…hiding her evil behind a bleached smile.

I don’t think so, Steve-O. But whatever, I hope he gets himself straightened out, and they each have a bright future.

Gee Tammy, back on June 18 there was an article on here about Anne dumping this guy and you said that she should have loved and supported him and that she was selfish like other celebs and should have stood by him but, now it seems you have changed your tune. Why can’t you ever just get your OWN opinion and stick with it instead of saying what you think everyone else will say and agree to? It’s called being a leader, not a follower!! You do this contradicting thing on here alot. Am I the only one who notices this?

  11. tributegirl • June 28, 2008 @ 3:00 PM

Nope, I’ve also noticed this, and I’m sure if others were to really pay attention, they’d see it too.

Oh my god you two are such losers… some of us have lives than to go back and re-read everything someone wrote before about a different subject…I said to stick by your man before they found proof that her now-ex was doing these things and got arrested…that is my own opinion (obviously) and I am sticking with it…

  13. Nancy • July 8, 2008 @ 12:33 PM

I don’t have to go back and re-read, Tammy. I just have a really good memory and I’m not a liar…so I remember usually, when someone contradicts themselves. This is how your brain works when you DON’T do drugs! 🙂

    Oooops….LMFAO!

  14. tammy • July 10, 2008 @ 10:56 AM

I’m sorry Nancy if I don’t remember everything you say…maybe it’s because I don’t care….I like to use my memory for things that are worth something to me…sorry to burst your bubble but your comments are not worth memorizing…

  15. Nancy • July 10, 2008 @ 5:52 PM

Ummm, I said remember…not memorize. I wouldn’t waste good spare time MEMORIZING anything, much less anything one or all of the 3 musketeers said! There is a BIG difference when a person can just hear, see or read something and remember it! Probably why I am awesome at working with numbers.
