Anne Heche hires parenting coordinator

Following Anne Heche‘s very public and very nasty attack on ex-husband Coley Lafoon during an appearance on David Letterman’s talk show, the former couple have agreed to hire a “parenting plan coordinator” — a court-ordered chaperone — to teach them how to get along for the sake of their seven-year-old son, Homer. The coordinator, whose hourly rate is $375, will coach the parents on effective co-parenting; help the parents make joint parenting decisions; and resolve disputes between the parents concerning the court-ordered parenting plan. The contract will remain in effect until May 1, 2011. Heche is currently dating actor James Tupper, with whom she has a six-month-old son, Atlas.

I agree, Tributegirl. She’ll be sure to let the media know how her ex is still a “lazy ass” and probably how this ‘parenting plan coordinator’ doesn’t work but just keeps holding his/her hand out for Anne’s cheque saying, “yay, I got a cheque from Anne today. I got a cheque from Anne today”. LMAO!
Truly pathetic having to hire a ‘coach’ to teach these two how to be responsible,civil,and fair parents. Parenthood is just one big inconvenience eh Anne?
demigod, you’re right, it does seem to be a huge inconvenience to her. If she doesn’t want the kid, she could just as easily sign off on all parental rights and give him to his father.
