Ben Stiller relies on Christine Taylor to help him edit all of his jokes.
The couple, who have been married for 15 years and have 12-year-old daughter Ella and nine-year-old son Quinlin, enjoy working together on set and have teamed up on a number of films, including Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and Zoolander.
The Zoolander 2 actor insists he wouldn’t be half as funny without his actress wife’s help and tests all of his material out on her first.
The 49-year-old director said: ”We trust each other. We get each other. You can’t do comedy in a vacuum. You need people to react.”
Ben previously admitted he finds it difficult to stay relevant as he gets older.
He explained: ”It’s hard to stay current to whatever the current hipster hipness is. Pop culture moves so quickly now and people’s attention spans are so short.”
