Career change for Taylor Swift?

By Tribute on April 15, 2013 | 4 Comments

Country singer Taylor Swift, 23, is looking for a career change. The successful Pennsylvania native wants to be a movie star, a source has told OK! Magazine. It’s apparently been her dream since she was a little girl. She even started acting lessons at the age of nine and plans to focus more on acting after her current music tour concludes. The possible career change isn’t much of a surprise for the singer’s fans. She’s already appeared in the movie Valentine’s Day and provided the voice of Audrey in Dr Seuss’ The Lorax. Taylor even auditioned for the role of Eponine in the Oscar-winning film Les Misérables but lost the part to theater performer Samantha Barks, who had already played the role on stage. Now that Taylor has some acting experience, including appearances on SNL and a guest role on the season finale of Zooey Deschanel‘s show New Girl, maybe her childhood dream will come true. ~Cassie Jasinski
