As legions of Fifty Shades of Grey fans argue over which celebs would be the best picks to play any of the lead roles in the film adaption of E.L. James erotic novel, rumors that actor Carla Gugino is being considered for the part of Elena Lincoln, otherwise known as Mrs. Robinson, have recently begun to circulate. The possible involvement of Gugino – whose seasoned acting career includes roles in Watchmen and Californication – in the film comes as an exciting surprise to 50 Shades fans. Although plans for filming have yet to be set, there has been much Hollywood buzz and interest in bringing James’ saucy story to the big screen. Mark Wahlberg’s Closest to the Hole Productions, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures and many others put in bids for the production rights, but it was Universal Pictures and Focus Features that eventually secured the deal to translate the novel to film. Surpassing Harry Potter’s world sales, 50 Shades now holds the record for fastest-selling paperback of all time and it is no wonder that celebrity A-listers like Ryan Gosling are being seriously considered for lead roles. ~Brandon Bastaldo

That’s actually a pretty good choice.
Agree
I’ve read a few snippets here and there, and I guess sex really does sell. How sad. I wonder how the BDSM community feels about this book…
The should ask Sasha Grey to do the movie. She got the good look and her name would fit well with the movie title.
