Fans of James Corden‘s viral sensation “Carpool Karaoke” can start revving their engines.
The Hollywood Reporter broke news that the Late Late Show host and one of the program’s producers are shopping around the idea of turning the popular segment into a TV series.
The runaway hit features top-name musicians singing along to top tracks in a moving vehicle driven by James. Not to be outshone by his passengers, he belts out the ballads with them.
Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carrey and Justin Bieber are a few of the stars who have hit notes with chauffeur James.
His carpool with Justin took the fast lane when it landed a spot on Youtube’s Top 10 Trending Videos of 2015.
A recent songstress to ride shotgun is Adele, who lent her vocal pipes to Nicki Minaj‘s “Monster” and Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” in January. After five days on YouTube, the video pulled in 42 million views. Shortly after, it sped into the record books by becoming the most watched late night YouTube clip ever.
Although James isn’t expected to host the standalone show, it’s reported that he’ll likely make appearances.
