Carradine’s family calls in FBI

david_carradineDavid Carradine‘s family has called in the FBI to help investigate his death in a luxury hotel in Thailand. David’s half-brother, Keith Carradine, 59, met Friday with FBI officials in Los Angeles. Though the FBI has no juridiction in Bangkok,  FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimilller told People magazine that they’re attempting “to determine if the Thai authorities are requesting or would welcome FBI assistance in this matter.”  Keith’s main reason for getting them involved is “to determine if anyone else was involved,” says his attorney, Mark Geragos. The family is extremely upset that a photo of David’s death scene, allegedly taken by a member of the Thai forensics team, was published on the Saturday cover of a Thai newspaper. The photo shows Carradine’s hands tied above his head, which has led the family to question whether David’s death is a homicide, rather than an accident. However, Brent Turvey, a forensic scientist and criminal profiler who has studied auto-erotic asphyxiation told TMZ that this is a fairly common practice by those who enjoy auto-erotic suspension: “By tying his hands above his head, and bending his knees in a sitting position, he can easily stand up and untie his hands with his teeth. Choking in this position is an accident that usually results from the rope being left on the neck a few seconds too long.”

I read today that his family believe that he was assassinated because he was trying to expose an underworld martial arts group. The article said his “hands were tied behind his back” and that there was a footprint on the bed which did not match David’s shoe.

If his hands were tied together, how did they get that way? Obviously he couldn’t do that himself, I think there was someone else there, maybe it was a murder, or maybe he had someone with him who got scared and ran.

His third wife gave an interview over the weekend saying he was into bondage and tying himself up. http://www.tmz.com/2009/06/08/carradines-ex-he-spent-days-planning-bondage/ We’ve already heard from another wife saying that he liked “deadly sex”, wonder if the other two wives have anything to add…

kinky shouldnt = death. if someone else was in the room with him, im not sure i would assume they were scared and ran off. if someone else was in the room maybe she or he was hired to get him to do kinky stuff and then kill him? either way, this is a terrible story, and why would they be allowed to post his death photo on the front page of a newspaper?!?! talk about insensitive and untasteful! even if it was due to kinky sex (which it now seems like it, i wasnt aware it was actually proven on that last article) the picture shouldnt have been shown to anyone and most of the details (like the fact that it WAS related to kinky sex) should have been kept quiet. talk about trying to take away a mans dignity after hes already dead.
