No love from Carrie Underwood’s hubby? The country singer says her husband Mike Fisher is a little reserved when it comes to public displays of affection because of his conservative character. Despite his old-fashioned morals, her partner doesn’t mind Underwood showing her figure in music videos or stage costumes. “He’s definitely a conservative guy, to get him to kiss me in public is a really big deal – but he knew what he was marrying,” said Underwood in an interview with Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O. “He knows that even if the skirt’s a little short, I would never do anything my kids would be embarrassed about when they grow up.” The American Idol winner also shared how romantic her hockey playing husband really is, gushing over his surprise to make her 29th birthday special. “Oh, I’m a birthday girl, because it is the one day of the year that is all about me. I learned it from
my mom, we actually have birthday weeks — we don’t have just one day, it’s a whole week of celebration,” she said. “I wasn’t going to do anything this year but my husband threw me a giant surprise party. I had told him I wanted something romantic, which he did the night before. There is nothing wrong showing the world how much you truly admire and love a person. But there is limits. You still need to have respect for everyone else. But not kissing your woman, holding her hands, being frisky and fun at times and just doing the things you wouldn’t do normally because love brings you there and you can’t help it is just amazing.
