Charlie Sheen’s dog dies of malnutrition

By Alexandra Heilbron on March 28, 2011 | 33 Comments

Denise Richards took back the two pug dogs she had when she married Charlie Sheen. She reportedly left the dogs with Charlie when they divorced, so their two daughters could play with them when they visited him. However, after Charlie’s meltdown last October at the Plaza hotel in NYC, Denise started getting calls about the dogs, saying they were being completely neglected to the point of starvation. Soon after, she went to Charlie’s house and he gave her the dogs, but it was too late for one of the pugs, who died of malnutrition soon after. Charlie now wants the other dog back to act as his mascot when he begins touring his one-man show around North America. He tweeted this morning: “We must bombard with Warlock Napalm, that traitor and loser whore #DUH -neese POOR-ARD. A VILE KIDNAPPER AND NOW DOG THIEF.  HATE.” Denise refuses to give the dog back, fearing it will meet the same fate as the other one.

This is one thing I DID NOT want to read this morning. Thanks a lot Tribute.

I hope the dog haunts your ass Charlie, sicko.

The guy has to get his head out of his own a**. He’s trying to take the whole world with him and with what…a couple of stupid/funny one liner words that shot him into every media outlit possible so he could feed himself just a little longer after loosing the biggest thing he had going for himself. Good luck Charlie, hope you realize how many bridges you burned! Theres no going back.

Again I see no real proof that this is what happened here. Every article seems to be written with nothing but hearsay. I am not saying I cannot see Charlies being that responsible (in fact quite to the contrary) but again without some sort of direct quote or some kind of doctors confirmation I see this as a BS story.

  4. Shocked • March 28, 2011 @ 1:11 PM

He is such a looser. Does he not realize people are watching him like they would a car wreck. They want to see how low he will sink. Well as far as I am concerned he is a complete wacko!

He better not get that poor dog back.

  5. Leslie Buell • March 28, 2011 @ 1:27 PM

People will still go to his “one man show” concert to watch his further meltdown. And probably people with pets will buy a ticket, sometimes I don’t understand people but it’s human nature to want to watch this just like we slow down when we see a car wreck.

I can believe he didn’t take the time to feed the dogs or his kids if he didn’t have help.

Charlie was way to busy getting as much air time as possible and making a fool/troll out of himself to think of anyone or anything else other then Charlie Sheen.
He is the next Nick Nolte let’s just not give him any of our attention right now when there are other serious issues to worry about around the world.

Charlie Sheen should never have dogs, cats or kids. He is not grown-up enough yet nor will he ever be.

  6. JayMon • March 28, 2011 @ 3:29 PM

The main point is that doing too much drugs caused a psychotic meltdown. He needs help and shouldn’t be supported in his current condition. The grandeur personality is a direct result of his mental illness manic depression.

  7. Teresa Gaskins • March 28, 2011 @ 6:51 PM

He needs to be charged a crime for doing this to his dog. Animals need there owners to give them food and water to live, they can not do it themselves. The lifestyle of the rich just killed his dog. He needs to be charged with animal cruelty for sure.

  8. C-Dub • March 28, 2011 @ 6:59 PM

Amazing. Charlie is saying that stuff about his hot-ass X too. He hates everyone. I don’t know if he killed a dog, but this is getting out of hand. Charlie needs to get some good publicity and soon as this schtick is getting old fast. Nobody wants to keep reading so much negativity spewing out of someones mouth constantly.

  9. allee • March 28, 2011 @ 10:35 PM

This guy has officially lost it, he should get charged for this! Charlie, no one likes you anymore since you got kicked off two and a half men, you selfish greedy prick!

  10. Dennis • March 28, 2011 @ 11:31 PM

He’s a loser and anyone who goes to see his pathetic road show has a few screws missing.

  11. Germain • March 29, 2011 @ 9:30 AM

I think there was too much pot smoked at Charlie’s house and the dog died of the Extreme Munchies Syndrome.

  12. A • March 29, 2011 @ 10:11 AM

I think the responsibility lies with Denise Richards. You left the dogs so you could let your kids play with them when they visit him? Like you’d actually leave your kids alone with the lunatic, yet you left the dogs with him….
They could have survived if you dropped them off at a shelter.

  13. darryl • March 29, 2011 @ 5:29 PM

Really? This is it? Why did the house staff, standby and not feed the dog? This story is not the whole truth.

  14. rRita • March 30, 2011 @ 5:44 AM

Teresa Gaskins – “The lifestyle of the rich just killed his dog.”

And WHO pays for this Lifestyle of the rich?? If u go to movies etc., then you R contributing to them having Way Too MUCH $$$!! The price of movie tickets went up in price a few months ago! Why do they need that extra? Before the price hike, in most movies they paradrd around so many lavish Brand NEW material things.

  15. rRita • March 30, 2011 @ 5:55 AM

Another thing, I think the dog died also of breathing in too much pot fumes and cigarette smoke!! Poor dog!! Thats a poor excuse to leave the 2 dogs with him in the 1st place. His x-wife could have kept the dogs with her and her daughters, so they could have played with them at their place. She knew what he was like! She should have known better!

  16. Melanie • March 30, 2011 @ 3:21 PM

I felt sorry for him before this. Now I hope he dies a grisly, painful death asap.

  17. Joanne • March 30, 2011 @ 4:01 PM

the man has gone bonkers, and nothing should be in his care!

  18. Charlie Sheen • March 31, 2011 @ 10:34 AM

    Blah im still Winning!

  19. mandee • March 31, 2011 @ 8:21 PM

im not sticking up for what he did here, but im curious how many of us have ever work as an actor in a tv show? how many of you actually know how many hours a day this man worked? how do we know he simply wasnt TOO BUSY to properly take care of these pets? he could have hired someone to take care of them and feed them and THEY may have been the ones to neglect the dogs and THEY could even be the reason for their deaths. as far as im concerned someone that has even a full time 40 hour a week job barely has time to competently raise a pet of any sort, so how can we expect celebs to find the time to?

  20. Lindsay • April 1, 2011 @ 7:52 AM

What a load of shit mandeeee, you can’t look after an animal you give it to someone else. You don’t have time, you give it to someone who does THERE IS NO EXCUSE! The staff not looking after the dog, you don’t notice? Still YOUR FAULT. Pay attention to the living thing that needs you. No excuses for this at all.

  21. Lisa • April 2, 2011 @ 10:44 PM

That’s disgusting. Both you, and whoever works for you should be taken to task over this. Junkie bogan!

  22. mandee • April 3, 2011 @ 3:16 AM

Lindsay on April 1, 2011 7:52 AM did i say theres an excuse as to why this dog died? nope, i sure didnt, what i said was WE dont know the ENTIRE story, the ONLY people that KNOW what REALLY happened are charlie and the people that live in charlies house. you clearly dont live there, so you cant comment on whether or not CHARLIE is the responsible one. for all you and i know, he could have went away for a week or 2 and left the dogs behind with someone “caring” for them and came back to 2 sick dogs. until you ARE the person they are talking about, you cant really say that you KNOW what happened FOR SURE.

  23. Mike • April 3, 2011 @ 7:21 AM

I never thought id say this but Charlie Sheen is an idiot hands down. This is coming from a guy that has always liked his work as an actor. Loved him in Platoon, Money Talks, Major League, thought he did a great job on Two And A Half Men. I lost all respect for him as an actor when he started doing the sheens korner broadcasts on ustream (im assuming his torpedo of truth show was similar to that). What makes me most sick is that hes not going to be charged with anything.. You take on a pet you have to feed it and give it care! Funny how Charlie always talks about “feeding the trolls” how about feeding your pets instead of starving them to death you rich asshole. Not that charging him would do any good, all I know is this is sad how he starved a dog to death. I would wish Charlie the worst but I don’t need to, hes already half way there. I think after this tour plays out you won’t be seeing anymore of Charlie he already buried himself.

  24. mon • April 14, 2011 @ 11:54 PM

If that poor dog died in his care then he should be charged with cruelty to animals, surely.. He’kll get away with it coz he’s famous, i bet… Not kool

I was curious if you ever considered changing the page layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But
maybe you could a little more in the way of content so
people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?

My programmer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on a variety of websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!|
