Charlie Sheen’s sitcom character to be killed off

By Alexandra Heilbron on June 28, 2011 | 12 Comments

When Two and a Half Men returns for the new season, it’s being reported that the screen will turn dark for a moment as Alan (Jon Cryer) and Jake (Angus T. Jones) find out Charlie Sheen‘s character, Charlie Harper, has been killled. It hasn’t yet been revealed how he’ll meet his demise, but rumor has it that the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, will have Charlie driving a car off a cliff. This is apparently a jab at Sheen, who twice allegedly had cars stolen last year and driven over cliffs in hilly Los Angeles. It was also reported yesterday that Sheen has lost his last “goddess,” Natalie Kenly, who dumped him and moved out of his mansion. He apparently wasn’t too happy about being abandoned and demanded that she return the Mercedes he bought for her. Sheen’s other “goddess,” porn star Bree Olsen, left in April after dumping him by text message.

Wow, uneccessary. They could just move him away, not kill him off.

He looks like an old man on this picture. It’s a Sitcom, the only motive they have to kill off Charlie is to humiliate Sheen as much as they can, this not a good twist for a Sitcom.

He does look very old. I guess his lifestyle is aging him fast.

Charlie Sheen is the coolest fricking guy alive! Rich, parties like a madman, drinks and smokes, sleeps with hot women…awesome man!

I really don’t like Charlie Sheen, and his behavior on the set was ridiculous. No wonder they fired him! And yes he is looking very old, I never thought he was good looking.

Everyone is leaving his side. He needs to hit rock bottom again to realize what he had. And of course, everyone will welcome him back with open arms. But to kill off the character like that is low. Chuck doesn’t seem any better.

I loved Charlie’s character and have been a fan of his for years, but it sounds like they really don’t want him to come back if they are killing him off. That says a lot and maybe Mr. Sheen will learn something from this (when he sobers up). I don’t wish him ill will and I do hope he comes to his senses and cleans himself up for the sake of his children and the rest of the family, not to mention his fans.

I used to be a Lohan fan, but she screwed herself on that one and Charlie is almost there too, if not already – I’ll give him til the end of the year and then he’s out of my fan favourite book.

I look forward to a new sitcom with Charlie Sheen. Yeah he is out in left field perhaps but damn he is funny. I really excited about the new season of 2 and 1/2 men to see how in heaven’s name they can keep up the hilarity that was present before. Even the common man can blow it but doesn’t have to be eaten alive.
