Renowned Batman Begins director Christopher Nolan has received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. He was honored at a ceremony this past Saturday in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway, stars of his upcoming film The Dark Knight Rises, were both there to support and congratulate him. Other cast members attending the ceremony included Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, and Michael Caine. Nolan is famous for his Batman film franchise, as well as for Memento, The Prestige and Inception. Only the eighth director to have his imprints on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Nolan joins legends such as Michael Jackson and Humphrey Bogart. Talking about the ceremony, he said, “There’s something very interesting about that phenomenon of trying to preserve something and trying to hang onto it.” ~Isabelle Khoo
