Dame Shirley Bassey blasts Beyonce for ‘skimpy’ Met Ball dress

Dame Shirley Bassey has blasted Beyoncé for her skimpy Met Ball dress.
The 78-year-old ‘Goldfinger’ hitmaker said she doesn’t understand why modern singers feel the need to ”see who can wear the skimpiest outfit,” rather than focus on their talents, having seen the 33-year-old ‘Crazy In Love’ superstar’s barely-there bejeweled dress.
Dame Shirley said: ”It is like they are all in competition with each other. Who can wear the skimpiest outfit? I mean come on. When I saw Beyoncé at the Met Ball the other night I was like, ‘excuse me?’ I think you have to leave a lot to the imagination. Yes, my dresses were sexy with a slit here and a cut up to here but I left a lot to the imagination. I did not show everything.”
The ‘Big Spender’ singer believes current stars will struggle to emulate her long career, which has lasted more than six decades, if they go down the X-rated route, and thinks they’re giving children a ”bad impression” by wearing next to nothing.
Speaking at the ‘Shooting Star’ book launch in London, Shirley said: ”Of course it is a bad impression for young people to follow because they want to dress like that. It is like ‘Who can wear the least amount of coverage.’ They are all talented and that is the sad thing about it. I say go in the studio and sing your heart out and get a vocal coach and strengthen your vocal chords.”

I’m with Shirley. Not much elegance today.
Just a no – talent ho, who has to use her nudity to generate attention..losing her looks and getting a little chunky as she ages, and with that ugly man she’s with….feel bad for her kid.
Women who have to dress this skankily, seem desperate…whether she’s trying to keep that ugly husband interested, or trolling for revenge on his cheating a__, she’s not doing herself any favors.
She often sounds like she has a speech impediment when she sings or talks. Must be the fat tongue that’s too big for her mouth.
And I still say she looks pretty masculine- she looks more male than some of the Trannies on RuPaul’s Drag Racing show..
Beyonce looks like she needs a good bath … ALL THE TIME ! Perhaps a little baking soda would help.
