Daniel Radcliffe to star in supernatural thriller

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has been confirmed for the upcoming supernatural thriller Horns. This film will be an adaptation of Joe Hill’s New York Times bestseller by the same name. The story follows Ig Perrish, a suspected rapist and murderer, as he wakes up with a hangover and finds horns growing out of his head. Moreover, the horns have a magic power – the power to force people to confess their sins. As Perrish tries to prove he didn’t kill his girlfriend, the horns help him find the real murderer. Daniel will star as the lead and Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes) will direct. Aja took an immediate interest to the project, saying in a press release, “After reading Joe Hill’s cult book, I couldn’t resist temptation to dive into the devilish underworld and reinvent a universal myth. ‘Horns’ is a wild ride of sin and crime, with a love story in its heart.” Production companies behind the movie are Red Granite Pictures and Mandalay Pictures and filming is set to begin this fall. ~Stacy Raivich
