Dumb and Dumber To starring Jim Carrey opens this weekend

DumbandDumberToTwenty years after the release of the classic comedy Dumb and Dumber, the highly anticipated sequel Dumb and Dumber To hits theatres today. Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey return as loveable idiots Harry and Lloyd and this time they’re on a journey to find Harry’s long-lost daughter. The film’s stars recently explained in an interview why the franchise still matters to audiences. Check showtimes here.

There are also several films out in limited release this week, including Toronto International Film Festival film Rosewater. The Daily Show‘s Jon Stewart makes his directorial debut with this film based on the true story of journalist Maziar Bahari who was detained and tortured in Iran for six months under false charges. Those looking for a feel-good inspirational story may find it in One Chance. Into the Woods star James Corden stars in this film about a working class man who auditions for Britain’s Got Talent and becomes a media sensation. Check showtimes here.
