On Tuesday, actor Edward Furlong was arrested and detained on suspicion of felony domestic violence after he had an argument with his girlfriend at LAX which turned violent. Police officers who arrived at the scene saw visible signs of trauma on Furlong’s girlfriend’s arm. The actor was soon arrested and jailed with his bail set at $50,000. However, it turns out this is only one of Furlong’s new worries as now it’s being reported that the American History X actor has been dropped from his latest project, Misled. The flight Furlong was supposed to board at LAX was due to go to Detroit, where Misled is about to begin filming. Although Furlong was eventually released on bail, Scott Balydyga — the movie’s producer — says that while “I love Eddie…we are two days away from shooting and we have another guy to cast in his place,” adding “We aren’t going to lose any sleep over this.” Balydyga explains that while Furlong was being arrested and detained, the actor missed important wardrobe prep and rehearsals.  ~Brandon Bastaldo
