Elsa from Frozen on Once Upon a Time

If you’re a Frozen fan and watch Once Upon a Time you might be shivering with excitement at this news. In the last few seconds of the season finale of Once Upon a Time fans were shocked when they saw that the blue water coming out of the jar slowly became their beloved snow queen. It was confirmed in a tweet later that night that it was Elsa from Frozen and not the evil Snow Queen she is based on. Once Upon a Time show runners Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are making the rounds and being interviewed on that chilling twist. They said they are hoping to get Idina Menzel (pictured at left) to return to play the iconic character. The show runners also pointed out that Elsa may not be the only one from the hit movie that will be coming to Storybrooke. Although they didn’t say who else would be on the show, in past interviews they said they want Kristen Bell to reprise her role as Anna. They also stated how heartbroken they would be if they did not get to see Arendelle, the homeland of the two sisters.

Frozen only hit theaters last November but is a huge hit. It’s the top-grossing animated film of all time with earnings of over 1 billion dollars at the worldwide box office. Once Upon a Time will return in September with a fourth season.  ~Dylan Paisley

That would be crazy awesome!! I’d be even more stoked to have Kristen Bell on the show too!
