Emmys 2020: Complete list of nominations!

WatchmenNominations for the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday. HBO’s Watchmen topped the list with 26 nominations, followed by Amazon Prime Video’s comedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel with 20 nods, and Netflix’s Ozark and HBO’s Succession earned 18 each.

It was Netflix that dominated with 160 nominations, breaking the record for most nominations of any network, studio or streaming platform. HBO came in second with 107 nominations and other streaming services like Disney+ and Apple TV+ also nabbed prestigious nods.

All four leads on the Canadian comedy series Schitt’s Creek earned a nomination for the show’s sixth and final season. There were a lot of first-time Emmy nominations. Jennifer Aniston earned her first Emmy nomination for her work on The Morning Show, Zendaya for her performance as Ru in Euphoria and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II for Watchmen.
