Family Channel presents Yoda Chronicles

Family Channel is honoring International Star Wars Day with the premiere of LEGO Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles, a four-part miniseries about Yoda and his adventures. Known for his great wisdom, prestigious command of the Force and superior lightsaber combat skills, Yoda’s animated series recalls the Jedi master’s most exciting adventures as he takes on some of the greatest villains in the universe. In the premiere episode, “Escape from the Jedi Temple,” Yoda and the Ghost of Obi-Wan decide it’s time to further Luke’s training when his immaturity nearly puts him and his friends in the hands of Darth Vader.

To test his strength, they decide to bring the last of the Jedi Holocrons out of hiding, but first the two recall the thrilling heist they pulled to free the Holocrons from the Temple in the dawning days of the Empire. The first episode of the LEGO Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles miniseries premieres Sunday, May 4 at 12 p.m. ET/PT.
