Fast Five best April box office debut of all time

Fast Five sped past the competition at the weekend box office to capture an estimated $83.6 million (all figures U.S.) at the domestic box office, the best opening this year to date and the top April debut of all time. Tribute viewers gave it a high rating of 4.35 out of 5 stars. Last weekend’s top earning movie, Rio, dropped to second place, earning an additional $14.4 million, with 4.3 5 stars from Tribute viewers. Dropping one spot to third was Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family, getting 4 stars from Tribute users and grossing $10.1 million. Water for Elephants starring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson also dropped a spot, taking in an additional $9.1 million. The teen-oriented romantic comedy Prom rounded out the top five, earning $5 million and rating of 3.8 stars at Tribute.ca.

    This Movie was awesome, if you want a fun guy movie then you will love it. PS to the ladies, its got yer eye candy so bring your boyfriend or hubby. 🙂

    Not to mention, as a 28-year old male, one part of the movie even brought tears to my eyes.

    I wouldn’t pay 10 cents to see any of these films…agree re Paul Walker eye candy…the rest uh-uh…
