The Toronto International Film Festival has announced the addition of two Gala Presentations — Dorian Gray starring Ben Barnes, and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee starring Robin Wright Penn, as well as eight Special Presentations to this year’s lineup. Included are works from criticallyacclaimed filmmakers Ethan and Joel Coen, Werner Herzog and Rebecca Miller, and featuring on-screen performances by Drew Barrymore (in her directorial debut), Jim Broadbent, Nicolas Cage, Michael Caine, Colin Farrell, Colin Firth, Val Kilmer, Christopher Lee, Juliette Lewis, Eva Mendes, Julianne Moore, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page and Keanu Reeves. This year’s Festival runs from September 10 to 19. Ticket packages for the Festival are now available for purchase online at tiff.net/thefestival, by phone at 416-968-FILM or 1-877-968-FILM (10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, closed weekends and holidays) or in person at the Festival Box Office at Nathan Phillips Square.

looking better every day…Coen Brothers should be interesting…as well a number of these performances, Broadbent, Page, Murphy….and sighting Reeves, Farrell and Firth, in my view, would be very, very fine….
