It’s hard not to get emotional watching the trailer for the Game of Thrones documentary titled “The Last Watch,” a two-hour documentary taking us behind-the-scenes of the final season of the hit show.
From the last table read to Emilia Clarke‘s last scene — there’s tears guaranteed. Even Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, is seen teary eyed with his cast mates.
According to HBO, this movie “delves deep into the mud and blood to reveal the tears and triumphs involved in the challenge of bringing the fantasy world of Westeros to life in the very real studios, fields and car-parks of Northern Ireland … Much more than a ‘making of’ documentary, this is a funny, heartbreaking story, told with wit and intimacy, about the bittersweet pleasures of what it means to create a world – and then have to say goodbye to it.”
The documentary will premiere on HBO on May 26, a week after the final episode. Watch the trailer above. ~Marriska Fernandes
