The hit HBO series Game of Thrones has made its way to Toronto, just in time for March Break. The exhibition at the TIFF Bell Lightbox, which opened on Friday, features displays of artifacts, costumes, weapons and the infamous Iron Throne. “Game of Thrones has legions of fans and this exhibition gives them a look behind the scenes at the art and craftsmanship that bring this hit series to life,” explains Lightbox artistic director Noah Cowan. Along with the exhibit, TIFF will also be hosting a question-and-answer session tonight with author George R.R. Martin, whose best-selling series A Song of Fire and Ice inspired the television show. Game of Thrones follows seven noble families fighting for control of the kingdom of Westeros. After a dramatic end to season one, fans are eagerly waiting for the second season premiere, which airs April 1 on HBO. ~Kayla Thompson
