Gerard Butler beat up annoying pap

Gerard ButlerRocknRolla star Gerard Butler has been accused of beating up a paparazzo in Los Angeles early Monday morning. Photographer Morgan Kreusch, 30, filed a police report saying the Scottish actor repeatedly punched him in the face, leaving him with a gashed lip that required stitches and three loose teeth. However, witnesses have come forward, saying the photographer tailed Gerard for hours, according to tmz.com. They also say Kreusch was driving “recklessly” as he “chased” Butler’s limo, almost hitting several pedestrians. Gerard then allegedly got out of the limo and struck the annoying jerk photog in the face at about 1:45 a.m, three or four times. Witnesses say Kreusch then continued following Butler for more than an hour, but his agency says he was at the police station by 2:10 a.m. filming a report charging Butler with misdemeanor battery. Police are investigating the incident.

So, I guess all these ‘witnesses’ were following them too…for hours on end…???

I was afraid of the inevitability…..it was only a matter of time before my future husband would find himself in the midst of Hollywood Babylon. I really hope this pap deserved to be retaliated against…I live in my little world where my beloveed Gerry does no wrong….he is after all, not just King Leonidas..he is The Phantom….sigh

Sheae – that’s hilarious. i actually saw your husband at TIFF this year. we had an affair. i’m kidding!

as for the article, whenever i see stuff like this i almost always immediately blame the paparazzi. that could be rash and irrational but so are they.

Way to go Gerard though I normally don’t condone violence he probably had it coming. Those guys are a bunch of sick vultures who have no regard for people’s personal privacy and persistently goad them trying to get some sort of reaction(something I think most of us would find unacceptable in our own lives).Celebrity or not we all have a right to privacy.

I think that pap is a jerk! He practically killed some pedestrians just so he could find out some personal info about Gerard Butler! I think the pap should be charged with endangering the lives of not only those pedestrians but that of Gerard Butler. For Butler to have gone out of his limo to punch that jerk, he must really have been pushed too hard as I saw him at TIFF being harassed, pushed and insulted by some rude fans but besides making some smart-aleck comments to them, he clammed down and you could see he wanted to be anywhere else. I hope Gerard Butler is found innocent of any wrong-doing and that the pap will be put in jail and sued.

That papparazo got what he deserved ; Gerry should not be blamed in any way – he has the right to defend himself, and should be praised for trying to prevent an accident which could have injured others. Gerry should be treated with respect – he’s the most beautiful, thoughtful, talented, funny, brilliant and brave man!! Let him live in peace – especially when he is not working, don’t bother him. Phan Forever!

Good! It’s about time one of those annoying paps got their ass kicked. Maybe next time he’ll think twice before gettin up in someone’s face with a camera.
