Guy Pearce, Percelle Ascott, Sorcha Groundsell on Netflix’s The Innocents

Netflix’s new series The Innocents is your go-to sci-fi binge for the month. It follows teenagers Harry (Percelle Ascott) and June (Sorcha Groundsell) who run away from home to be together. However, they’re derailed by the discovery that June is gifted with the ability to shapeshift. A mysterious professor, Ben Halvorson (Guy Pearce), promises to cure her and reveals that she is not the only one to possess these powers.
Soon, Harry and June’s love for each other is tested to breaking point and they must make a tough decision. The series premieres on Netflix on August 24.
I was in Los Angeles to chat with Guy Pearce, Percelle Ascott and Sorcha Groundsell about their British supernatural teen series and their on-screen dynamic. They also reveal which celebrity they’d love to shapeshift into. ~Marriska Fernandes
